The mission of Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Academy is to provide challenging and world-class instruction for children so that the opportunity to label these youngsters as "at-risk" is significantly reduced.
The intervention strategies incorporated by caring educators to achieve the mission will form the foundation for a strong mathematics, science and technology-based education.
The personal instruction afforded the students will be designed to stimulate the development of critical thinking skills, to encourage creativity and to provide enriching experiences while mastering basic skills. A strong parental, professional and community-based environment at Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Academy will instill the desire to excel and enjoy learning while preparing for responsible adulthood in a global society.
